Not every job is a full move. We regularly carry a single large box, a suitcase, a bike, a mirror or one piece of furniture from cities like Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris and Warsaw to addresses across the UK. Your item travels on a van that is already making the trip, so you pay for the space it takes rather than for a whole vehicle.

How to get an accurate quote

Send us the size and approximate weight, the collection and delivery addresses, and a photo if the item is unusual. Packaging matters: a box should be strong, taped on every seam and filled so it does not collapse. For furniture, tell us if it can be dismantled. The more we know, the more accurate the quote.

Customs for one box

One box is still an export from the EU and an import into Great Britain. We need a simple list of contents and a value. If you are moving to the UK, Transfer of Residence relief may apply to personal belongings once HMRC approves it. New goods need an invoice.

Because single items ride with planned loads, we give you a collection window and an expected delivery date rather than a fixed hour, and we keep you updated with tracking once your item is on the van.

Each of these joins a van already planned on that lane, so the main thing that changes the price is the size of the item and the addresses at each end.

Items that are very fragile or valuable should be well packed, and we will tell you if something needs a crate rather than a wrap. Food, plants and liquids have their own import rules, so ask us before including them in a box.

Questions about single items

Can you collect from a parcel shop or friend's address? Yes, if someone can hand it over. Do you deliver to student halls? Yes, give us the hall details. Can you carry an item that is not boxed? Often yes, we wrap it. Is there a minimum size? No, but very small parcels may be better sent by courier, and we will tell you honestly.
